It’s Just Talia

I’m Talia, fresh from the USA,

Now Tel Aviv just stole my heart away.

Reichman by day, nightlife by night,

I leave the house for coffee… come home at first light.

My calendar looks perfectly planned,

Then chaos shows up and takes my hand.

I swear I’m trying, I really do…

Life just has better jokes than you.

Don’t take it personally if I disappear,

I blink once… somehow it’s already next year.

Oops… I missed another text,

“I’ll answer later”… yeah, what did you expect?

Fourth of July, airport goodbye,

My dog looked at me and I couldn’t say bye.

If you’re waiting on a reply from me,

Maybe grab a snack… or watch a movie.

It’s never on purpose, honestly—

That’s just everyday life with Talia.

“One quick drink” is always the plan,

Three bars later… “Where even am I again?”

Nahalat knows me a little too well,

The bartenders probably know my spell.

My dog’s the CEO of my life,

She makes the rules, I just survive.

Flight or puppy? Easy choice…

Sorry airline, she gets the final voice.

I lose my keys, I lose my phone,

Sometimes I forget I’m not at home.

People say, “Where did you go?”

Honestly… I’d also like to know.

Oops… another crazy day,

Somehow everything goes sideways.

I never mean to make people wait,

I’m just running on “Talia Time” every day.

Life’s a comedy, that’s my style,

At least it keeps everybody smiling.
